SXSW is upon us, and we wanted to share some exciting updates!
Fashion hasn't been the focus at South by Southwest in years past, but interest continues to grow as the city population expands.
A few fashion-centric events were hosted over the last week, including The Wear House, sponsored by Women's Wear Daily, and ACC Fashion Incubator invitation-only studio walkthrough. The Wear House featured great conversations on the state of the industry, diversity & inclusion, and sustainability. Some of the major brands represented were a few of our favorites, Higher Dose, Fashionkind, Devacurl, and more.
LOKA.HAUS had the honor of being mentioned in the Decarbonizing Our Influence talk, by ACC Fashion Incubator director Nina Means. As our brand's core pillars are sustainability and social impact, we have maintained a point of focus for recognition by the Incubator and other organizations.
The ACC Fashion Incubator studio walkthrough gave our brand, alongside the other designers-in-residence, the opportunity to speak with and introduce our stories to industry professionals and influencers.
Tonight, Wednesday March 15, we will be one of the brands represented at the Future of Fashion 2023 show, hosted by re(Find), Resource, and Bolder at VUKA in South Austin.
