In production · Limited first run
The LOKA.HAUS hardware program began as a solution to a design problem: we couldn't find closures that moved the way our garments needed to move. So we started making them.
The process: a master form is modeled digitally and printed in PETG on our Bambu X1C 3D printer, sanded to 1000 grit and sealed with epoxy. A silicone mold is cast from the master. Smooth-Cast 325 resin is mixed with 325-mesh brass powder and poured by hand. After demolding, each piece is wiped with mineral spirits, burnished with 0000 steel wool, and finished with a black shoe polish patina that brings up the warmth in the brass highlights.
Every piece is slightly different. The patina pools differently in each casting. This is not a defect — it is the process.
